Jumping, falling, touching... this picture book depicts a child enjoying each season in the great outdoors. Action verbs, like a refrain, are put into practice by the child, but also by her surroundings. Thus, the woodpecker and the sun beat down, gusts of wind blow, lightning strikes in summer and night falls in winter...

L’autrice

Margaux Othats was born and raised in the Pyrenees. After studying illustration at the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts, she published several books with Magnani, Gallimard Jeunesse, Albin Michel Jeunesse and Le Seuil Jeunesse. Her picture books, often without text, explore the relationship between time and children's perception of the landscape. She lives and works near Angers.
